Richard has significant expertise in advising Cooperative Research Centres, listed companies, SMEs, not-for-profit funded research bodies, government departments and agencies, and healthcare organisations.

 

He has extensive experience in structuring commercial transactions, joint ventures and government research initiatives, and advising on strategies for the commercialisation of IP, including licensing of patents, trade marks and copyright, both in Australia and internationally.

 

Richard is highly adept at the development and drafting of a wide range of commercial contracts, policies and procedures and has prepared suites of model agreements for many clients, as well as having drafted, evaluated and structured legislation for Australian governments, and prepared Ministerial briefing and policy papers.
