FAL Lawyer short-listed for the Lawyers Weekly 30 under 30 award!

The Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards is a highly esteemed awards programme, highlighting the exceptional skills and talents of aspiring young legal professionals across Australia. The award acknowledges their achievements and enthusiasm for the legal profession.

Maddison is one of 10 finalists selected for the Government industry group, recognising her exceptional legal work within the government space over the past 12 months. Being named a finalist in this event is highly regarded within the Australian legal industry as it demonstrates the level of dedication and determination each young individual has in advancing the growth of the industry.

Maddison is a pragmatic commercial lawyer who thinks outside of the box and approaches matters from various lenses. She undertakes legal work for various local, State and Commonwealth Government bodies, departments, and agencies. She was recently seconded into the ICT Legal team of a Commonwealth Agency in Canberra for a period of 9 months. Over this time, Maddison provided critical and strategic advice on large procurements as well as smaller transactional matters in relation to technology. She is also a valued member of our intellectual property team, and assisted with our delivery of strategic advice to Victorian Government Departments on new and existing trade mark applications.
