Rosie is an experienced commercial litigator and has acted in insolvency, bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters, including acting for insolvency practitioners in voidable transaction and insolvent trading claims, creditors and debtors in creditor petition claims, and for companies, directors and individuals in commercial disputes. As a firm advocate for timely and cost-effective dispute resolution for her clients, Rosie’s experience extends to pre-litigation strategy and advice and dispute resolution. In addition to her litigious work, Rosie also practises in general commercial law, assisting and advising clients on commercial agreements and issues. 

 

Rosie appears and assists regularly in the Supreme Court of Victoria, Federal Court of Australia, County Court of Victoria, Magistrates’ Court of Victoria and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, as well as the Victorian Small Business Commission and Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria. Rosie also has experience with urgent applications in the Supreme Court of Victoria. 

 

Rosie is the Secretary of the Melbourne University Hockey Club and a regular plasma donor in support of the Club’s Lifeblood team, which she set up and manages. When she’s not on a hockey pitch or in a donation chair, she can be found walking her fashionably-dressed whippets, Peanut and Sushi.
